How to Work Better (After Fischili and Weiss)

How to Work Better (After Fischli and Weiss)
wool, lurex yarn, plastic canvas (27 x 34.5cm)

This work refers to Dutch artists Bik Van der Pol’s drawing of a hand-written note of Fischli and Weiss’ ‘10 Points’, taken from the installation Library Drawings at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds. The work was intended to hang on the studio wall as a variation on more homely sampler verse. This original version was made using wool my sister and I used to practice our knitting with.
