Thonet chair, assorted nail colour, emulsion.

Embossed with a stylised scallop shell pattern, this Thonet chair is painted with nail enamels, simulating mother of pearl inlay. The chair balances on a Perspex ‘heel’ giving an illusion of levitation or movement.
