Grecian 2000 (Rejuvenator)

This second edition of Grecian 2000 (see 2003) was created for the exhibition ‘Campbell’s Soup’ at Glasgow School of Art. Installed along the Upper-East corridor running from the Museum, the lights illuminate a set of first generation casts of the Parthenon Frieze. The lights return some colour to the once gaudily painted 'marbles', whilst making the cast of Greeks appear to be discoing on a light-up dance floor.
